The Transportation Department needs to know how many families will require shuttle service from your former school to the new school location, namely Georgia Brown Dual Immersion, Lewis Flamson Junior High School, and Kermit King.
To be eligible to ride the shuttle, you must meet the walking distance criteria as outlined in PRJUSD Administrative Regulation (AR) 3541: Transportation Routes and Services. Once the Transportation Department has collected all the necessary information and numbers, it will design a route to accommodate the needs of the students. The maximum walking radius students shall be required to walk to the school of their attendance or to a bus stop are as follows:
Kindergarten through 5th Grade (K-5) One mile radius
6th Grade through 8th Grade (6-8) Three-mile radius
