Our library staff assists students in accessing, evaluating, analyzing, organizing, and communicating information and encourages lifelong learning.

 

The mission of the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District elementary and secondary library program is to:

• Prepare students to be proficient readers and lifelong learners.
• Promote digital literacy and information literacy so that students can access, evaluate, and use information as a skill-set to function in a knowledge-based economy and a technologically oriented society and to prepare students for college, career, and community.
• Provide a diverse collection of materials and instruction that supports site, district, and state curriculum standards and our local community.
• Provide all services with equitable access to students and faculty.
