Paso Robles Students Selected for American Legion State Program

Paso Robles High School is proud to announce that Paso Robles Unit 50 American Legion Auxiliary has named its 2026 representatives to the California Girls State program, recognizing three Paso Robles High School juniors for their leadership and academic excellence.
Julia Cox has been selected as the official delegate, with Lila Colegrove and Mia Angel named as alternates.
California Girls State is a highly regarded, week-long leadership and civic engagement program that provides students with a hands-on experience in government. Participants take part in simulations of city, county, and state government processes, gaining a deeper understanding of how public institutions function.
Students are chosen for this honor based on demonstrated leadership, strong academic achievement, and active involvement in their communities.
Julia Cox will attend this year’s session, which will be held at the University of California, Riverside from June 22 through June 27, 2026.
The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District congratulates Julia, Lila, and Mia on this outstanding achievement and commends the Paso Robles Unit 50 American Legion Auxiliary for its continued investment in developing future leaders.
