Paso Robles High School Athletics will partner with the Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services Department to conduct its annual football Emergency Action Plan training on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Ivan Huff Track at Paso Robles High School.

Beginning at 9:00 a.m., coaches, athletic personnel, and emergency responders will rehearse coordinated responses to several serious medical emergencies that can occur during athletic activities, including sudden cardiac arrest, head or neck injuries, exertional heat stroke, and significant fractures or dislocations.

The annual exercise allows PRHS Athletics staff to practice their established emergency procedures in realistic scenarios. Paso Robles Fire personnel will participate in the training and provide professional feedback to help strengthen communication, coordination, and response protocols.

Members of the community who observe emergency vehicles or response activity at the PRHS athletic facilities Saturday morning should be aware that the activity is part of a scheduled training exercise and does not indicate an actual emergency.

The Emergency Action Plan training is one component of PRHS Athletics’ ongoing work to promote student safety and ensure staff members are prepared to respond quickly and effectively during practices and competitions.
